I dont know how they feel on our stage. It was a tie to their story on Kingdom and RTK, and deobis have been building theories since their first performance. The Boyz have already proven themselves masters of these Kingdom stages, so they arguably have more to live up to that anybody else. *Collaboration stage: team Mayflay (Ateez, Stray Kids, BtoB) vs team Its One (iKon, The Boys, SF9), Rap Unit: solo comeback, it is bittersweet to see iKon kinda strike out on Kingdom. By the end of the 6th video, BTOB was the only one who stuck around. The performance stood out because of its focus on vocals, but the group is missing some of those key vocalists. Judging from this first episode, I think Stray Kids and The Boyz are the most competitive groups. With that said, the ending was abrupt as hell. I always wonder how many treasures idols, agencies and producers have lying around. Lets also root for all the groups to give fans their best performance! Tbh it wasnt the best arrangement, or even their best performance but nevertheless memorable. Personally, I feel like girl groups wind up being a bit more pigeonholed to their sounds and concept, so Queendom was a fantastic way of seeing them tackle something new, adapt another song to their own style, or showing off the talents of individual members that rarely get that opportunity in their own comebacks. In this video, I'm discussing the Mnet KINGDOM LEGENDARY WAR Episode 3 Ranking Results and recapping the episode. BTOBconsists of 6 members: Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub,Hyunsik, Penieland Sungjae. I also give a good point to ATEEZ for singing live (even though I also need to immediately cancel my decision : why would you say Hakuna Matata so seriously ?). ATEEZ Theyve really been playing with color (or lack thereof) lately. Comparing this episode to the debut of Road to Kingdom a year ago, I cant help but feel a little underwhelmed. Next weeks stages look like theyll be cool which is fun. I feel like they have more global popularity than that. At least it was cool in the end. BTOB. Theyre such an odd fit for the show, but Im curious to see how they will do against these younger, edgier groups. Despite their relative youth, I think theyre clear contenders for the crown. Ateez and BtoB had the best stages for me. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in: You are commenting using your WordPress.com account. Overall I really dislike noisy remixes that drag a songs energy down. 4th place: Stray Kids 3,386.248 Also, Is anyone else missing B.I. They spent a lot of time in that (admittedly cool) prismatic tunnel! Ateez was amazing, but I think they were way too serious. I believe Kpop singers can sing (if they are trained to sing properly). Honestly I felt Eukwang carried most of the humor of the show(as well as Ateez Wooyoung). Like many of the Kingdom groups, iKON opt for a food-themed behind-the-scenes video. The way they entered is by their seating arrangement in alternate order. That might not be to their benefit in the context of a legendary war, but its a nice contrast to some of the younger groups who are still finding their way. The Boyz I also will try to help with as many profiles as I can that have been forgotten or havent been updated in a while! It just looked very well made in my opinion, and Im so happy theyre done with this show. BtoB Im more interested in seeing where these groups go next. Darling daughter handed in her final essay for one class at 11:15pm, and the deadline was midnight. I have no idea how Ikon ranked so low either because like you said, I thought they were very big globally. I swear, this mooyaho! disease is taking over. The groups are each performing a song that won them first place in a music show, and these are some freaking epic songs. i have my feelings about this, but mostly im just happy because i enjoyed the interactions and seungmins shine time throughout kingdoms run (plus skz won and theyre one of my favourite groups ever so) but like you said i really am excited to see where theyll go from here (and on a different note, i cant wait for hyunjin to return because as much as I enjoyed the amount of center time felix and minho finally got in his absence, he is a very significant part of this group so one can only hope that they keep up giving all the members of their dance line shine time as well as their vocalists), Also when they talked about changmins marriage??!!! In a nutshell, I wish people didnt take themselves so seriously and sang live more. How cool would their stint on Kingdom have been with all six remaining members? But I really liked how they were so passionate, told a clear story, and sang live. It felt like a knockoff and less impactful version of the Mayfly Wolf stage. *The scores for the 2nd Round are determined: Part 1 Judges vote (25%) + Groups vote (25%) *Voting via the Whosfan app for the 1st round took part between April 15 (22:00 KST) April 18 (23:59 KST). Kingdom Legendary War 2021 Participants BtoB The guys say they havent been on a competition show before, but Id argue that that series was as cutthroat as it gets, even though it was probably fixed from the beginning. 1. Fans have been going wild for. It is known as the male counterpart of Queendom, and the sequel of Road to Kingdom. Kpop Albums Info They got to try new things and cant rely too much on stunts. Stray Kids Enter your email address to follow this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email. Disbanded Kpop Boy Groups I like their theme of delinquents, even if its not very original. I am not a RTK/Kingdom watcher, so Im going to use these recaps to kindof see whats going on. Unsurprisingly, BTOB are seasoned enough to simply turn the whole thing into a joke. On April 15, the new idol competition showwhich is the male version of the hit 2019 program Queendomaired the second half of its thrilling first round. 1. (The bottom half are all pretty close to me.) And now because their is no audience, we rely on stuns, horrible lip-syncing, and visuals to get through it. Isnt it a bit impressive or do they really think were not good enough?. In an intense finale, the K-pop bands left to compete for the crown were: SF9, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, BTOB, and iKON. After that brief flourish, the rest of the song felt a bit underwhelming. Wave is supposed to be fun, bright, and energetic. SKZ is really known for their dark concept which was also a good introduction stage for their group. The Boyz used VCR probably to incorporate two members who couldnt dance and one member that was put on quarantine for two weeks. With that said, this was barely Wave at all.
